Come to LIFPA Don Bosco Halifax’s Open House on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 3pm to 6pm at Bayers Road Center. You’ll be able to talk to us and discover our classes, from preschool to grade 12.

Aida Hachem Mrad - Arabic teacher

Born and raised in Lebanon, Aida Hachem Mrad studied at Sacred Heart School pursuing her French Literature education at the Lebanese University in Beirut, where she also obtained her diploma in Administration and Management from Centre Supérieur d’Études Commerciales.

Aida began her career as an elementary teacher at the Antonine School in North Lebanon for 15 years, where she taught Arabic, French, English, and Catechism.

In 2010, Aida relocated to Canada with her family and began working with the Honorary Consulate of Lebanon in Halifax in June 2011. She now holds the position of Executive Assistant to the Honorary Consul and the office director.

Aida devotes much of her time creating memories with her family. She enjoys reading and taking walks in nature. She is married and a proud mother of two daughters.

We welcome European students between the ages of 12 and 18 who come to perfect their English, and for whom we are looking for paid host families. Would you like to become a host family?
