Biography of Maëlle Durand

Maëlle Durand

French and geographical history teacher

Maëlle has had a passion for literature ever since she was a child.

After 4 years at the University of Lyon III, she decided as soon as she had her Master’s degree to stop waiting and meet her 1st classes in the Lyon region. The contact is natural, the pleasure shared: the vocation is confirmed. For 13 years, Maëlle DURAND has worked in the same school community near Lyon, participating with enthusiasm and enthusiasm in the development of the Catholic school where she teaches. Her multi-disciplinary background in ancient languages has led her to teach French and ancient languages at all levels. She will be moving to London in 2019 to teach at the Lycée International Français. She then moved to the Ardèche, where she was able to put her knowledge of literature and ancient languages to good use in the new Baccalaureate speciality course. Maëlle’s teaching focuses on communication and listening. Open and dynamic, Maëlle is looking forward to the new opportunity offered by Don Bosco today, ready to take on the challenge of crossing the line with her new team: alone we go faster, together we go further.
